I picked this pathway not only because i felt like i would really enjoy it but because later on in life i have a plan of hopefully one day owning my own little restaurant. In this begging course we focused on the basics, like sanitation, measurements, and cutting. This year was by far the easiest.

Foods and nutritionFoods and nutrition is the second course i took. This year was more advanced this year we learned things like how to cook different meats, how to make different kinds of broths, how to bake, make different meals and so on. We got the opportunity for a culinary school chef to come and demonstrate for us which was really cool.

HospitalitySenior year i took my last course which was Hospitality, this was by far the most difficult and busiest year. Although it was hectic sometimes this was the best year in my opinion. We got to work outside of class and after school setting things up and preparing food. This class really taught me how to be flexible, because in food service there are lots of things that can go wrong or unexpected.
